In East Sikkim, photography works best in Nathu La, Rumtek, Tsomgo Lake, Zuluk. Routes timed for light: sunrise viewpoints, clear months and the places worth carrying a tripod to.
The clearest views of Kanchenjunga come between October and December and again in March and April. Tiger Hill, Pelling, Sandakphu and Zuluk are the classic dawn points.
